SHOW AND TELL TUESDAY

Time for something a little different.
This does not contain any animal or animal material,
but I thought this poem and these pictures were beautiful
and wanted to share them with you.
I hope you like them.
Trees

by Joyce Kilmer (1886-1918)

I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.
A tree whose hungry mouth is pressed
Against the earth's sweet flowing breast;
A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;
A tree that may in Summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;
Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.
Poems are made by people like me,
But only God can make a tree.

Thanks for looking.

This is one of my all time favorite poems -- so full of awe! When I see a pretty tree I do imagine it has it's arms up to the heavens in praise of God :) My trees are home to all my beloved outdoor birds and I love them so much that I got myself the most spectacular set of tree tarot cards :) Thanks for all the beautiful and unusual tree photos!

Miracles! Little reminders of God's beautiful presence in our fallen world.I loved them all! I am thinking...."This one would make an awesome tree fort! OH! And this one, too! And....." I love tree forts. I would live in one, if possible!
