July 20th is....Ugly Truck Day!
This is primarily a guy holiday, but still worth mentioning. After all, how many of the ladies have ever had a truck? Or 'share' a truck with the hubbs?
Sure, a brand new, shiny truck with all of the gadgets and features still working, is a great thing. But, an old, ugly truck is something to cherish with pride. It has character that a new truck sorely lacks. It has a long history of dents, bangs, and scratches, each with their own tale of how it was proudly earned. Most guys can tell you exactly how and where every dent and scratch occurred, making that ugly truck a walking history book.
So if you are the proud owner of an ugly truck, be sure NOT to wash it or even think about cleaning the inside....just drive around, smile, wave and enjoy the fact that at least one day a year, it's good, right, and acceptable to look ugly and be proud!
This one may not be an ugly truck, but it sure has cute cargo!

"Ugly Truck Parade" that's a good one!!! All those dogs crowded in is my favorite.
My DH has 2 ugly trucks. They are both the same color dark green. One a small Ford Ranger and the other a big Chevy step side. He's so proud of them, dents and all, 'cuz they're paid for! ;D
No ugly trucks here. But, we have an ugly trailer that use to be a truck does that count. heehee. I did loe the cute cargo in the one pic. :)
