a day on the farm

Hi all and happy Tuesday this is a post about my trip up to the farm. My other halfs dad owns a hobby farm and runs cattle on it here are some photos. It was a lovely day. Afternoon tea. We all stopped for afternoon tea, coffee in a thermos and biscuits brought from home. These are the three Rawlings men three generations from oldest to youngest. This is Ash and his brother Kenny one of the dams me relaxing in the sun One of Johns cows (John is father of Ash and Ken) I love this pic cause you can see its reflection in the dam, This is the second dam. some cows taking a much needed drink Littlered with tongue out showing how gentle she is with John me and Littlered John says my hair matches hers new sheep! they adopted the farm by wondering in cows and sheep This is a little robbin resting on the farm gate can't be a farm without a tractor Ken with his farm grown pumpkins (I got one and made it into soup) Little Reds Calf not as quiet as Little red though Little red wasn't hand reared just naturally quiet and likes a good scratch Me and Ash

Wow, Jess! What a lovly farm! Ours is no longer a farm, but it was, with cattle and goats and a few horses and donkeys ;) We've got lots of birds my mom feeds and they still love the place. I LOVED getting to see yours -- and yu and Ash ARE CUTE!!!! :)

I agree. Great pictures. It was wonderful to see a part of you and your life, and family. Loved the animals as well. And you and Little Red do have the same color hair.
