Sasha Thinks Murphy's Law Isn't Funny.

Sasha here.  Some one named Murphy I hears comes up with these laws or rules and today wasn't funny at all.  Grandpa put the snow blower monster away in the big shed out back and we were groomed on Friday.  Mommy just got done packing up the winter boots and clothes.  Now, Charlie is sporting his spring short hair cut and even has his butt shaved.   Then, Saturday morning comes and mes and Charlie's wakes up to this mess.

Mommy says that it is Murphy's Law.  Well, I wants to let Murphy knows he is on my doxie POOP list for sure.

Sasha And Sunshine!

Hi all it's me Sasha.  Mommy said I could do the team blog tonight cause she didn't knows whats to blog about.  So here I is in Mommy's human sized snuggle sack.  I was just minding my own business trying to keep warm when I felt this warmness embrace my cold little wiener dog body.  Almost thought for a moment that Charlie wet the snuggle sack, but I knows he doesn't do that kind of thing.  Then, I peeked my head out and there was sunshine.  Lots of it, too.

So I wents to my favorite lookout point to see if the sun was really shining.  It was and so I called Charlie over cause you know his old bones needs lots of sun to keep warm.  That and his butt makes a good pillow.  But, don't tells him that.

Hey, Mommy put down that book and look the snow is starting to melt.  The sharp ice daggers that hang from the roof started to fall and make weird sounds.  So I had to woof at them to let them know that any squirrels they happen to accidentally squish will be mine once the back gate is open again for us to play in the backyard.  Which at this rate should be around June. heehee.

Well, Mommy wouldn't put down her book to look at the melting snow and falling ice daggers so I decided to get comfortable.  You gots to work on your doxie sun tan whenever you can in the winter you knows.

Aw, this is a good doxie life.  Now where did my Charlie butt pillow go off to now?

How Hot Is It?

The weather is nice and toasty here today. My little black and tan girl just can't seem to find a cool enough spot to nap during the heat of the day. She says, "It is so hot out that I could be my own wiener roast."

Dr. Seuss Birthday Giveaway

March 2nd is Dr, Seuss' Birthday. This week's Sunday blog is a giveaway that is all about him.

Dr. Seuss was one of Theodor Seuss Geisel's pen names. He is well know for the many children's books he wrote and illustrated. He was born on Howard Street in Springfield, Massachusetts on March 2, 1904. Before writing children's books, he wrote for a variety of publications, made political cartoons and made some army training films. His first published children's book was And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street. Can you believe it was actually rejected 27 times.

Ken- You Will Be Forever Missed.

On February 14, 2011, Ken, Shari's (petsjubilee team captain) husband passed away from a long battle with colon cancer. Today's blog is dedicated to him, as well as, the love that he and Shari shared together for 25 years.

The petsjubilee team is morning with you Shari. We want you to know that he will be forever in our hearts and minds, too. We are there for you whenever you need and we want you to know that you have best friends all over the world that are sending prayers at this very moment for you and your family.

Shari and her family have set up a special memorial blog for Ken. There are photos, loving statements from his family, as well as, a way that you can support the family during their grieving process.

The See-Saw

A boy - A girl
On a see-saw.

Up. Down.
Up. Down.

When one sores high,
The other comes crashing
Down - BAM.

Each connected to the other
In air,
On ground,
Or in between.

Up. Down.

In the park,
Children running, screaming, tagging.

Up. Down.
Up. Down.

One young boy falls,
Skins his knee.
But, on the see-saw
No one notices.

Other children come
to the see-saw.
"My turn!"
"Time to share!"
"I'm telling!"
The see-saw keeps going

Up. Down.

Children leave.

Dark clouds in sky.
Rain drops fall.

Boy and Girl Laugh.
Catch rain drops on tongues.

Thunder rumbles in distance.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day to all!

Today, on the petsjubilee etsy team page the team will be doing a special activity called Hearts For Valentine's Day. This activity involves team members going through other team member's shops and finding new items that we like. We heart those items and then post a link to the item in this forum thread here. At the end of the day, I will count up how many hearts we got for the whole team (or at least the thread posted ones). Then, I will let you all know how many we got for the day in the comments area below. Feel free to take a guess on the end number of hearts for the team we will get today in the comments are below, too.

The Heads Or Tails Wiener Is!

Last week we did the heads or tails game to pawmote some of the awesome petsjubilee team shops on etsy. Sasha and I had set answers that we thought would be correct, but we soon realized that you all had some creative ideas that were true, too. Therefore, we took all your answers especially if they had some funny reasons. Here are a couple of examples of the answers we got.

1 heads 2 both - Goes over head and covers body 3 heads 4 both - In the mouth out the tail end. 5 both - In the mouth and yummy for the tummy. 6 tails 7 heads 8 heads 9 both - For laying head and tail sleeping. 10 heads 11 both - Bow for head dress for body.1 2 heads 13 both - Shampoo for over. 14 both - over the head covers the body. 15 heads

Heads (even though these come out the other end in real life, this is NOT a real life poop!) 5. Heads 6. Heads - there are two complete heads on this pic and only one complete tail shot! 7. Heads 8. So we took all those who entered, and I wrote their etsy names on paper. I put them in a blue doxie bag that we got from Patty. Then, I gave it to Sasha to shake around. She enjoyed running around with it attached to her collar for a bit. Then, I had one of the kids I babysit draw the wiener (winner) from the bag. And the wiener is......
