Sasha, How Does Your Garden Grow?

Hi all. Sasha here. Mommy and I have been taken care of the little garden we have and it is sure coming along now. Take a look at all the pictures. I do hope I get to sample some of the food when it is ready for all my hard working paw-tection duties at keeping the squirrels and birds away. :)

Doxie Mind Control Test

What is Sasha thinking in this picture?

A.) Well, I do look best in red Mom!

B.) What I wasn't in the trash can honest. This just sort of came out of it on its own.

C.) Can I have a little "me time" Mommy?

D.) My security blanket was in the wash so I had to resort to tissue paper.

E.) What? The vet said that a high fiber diet was good for me!

Sasha's Garden Progress Report!

We couldn't come up with anything animal related so Sasha wanted to share her garden progress. We have about two more months to ripen and get big before cold weather starts up again. Paws crossed for a good harvest.

Sasha's Interview: The Answers.

Sasha here. I have been going through all the convos of the last week looking for all your answers. I am hoping my doxie eyes didn't miss anyones. If I did, so very sorry. Please, let me know, and I will peek through the convos again to see where I missed you. Then, do a bit of editting. Now, off to the answers of the interview questions.

1. If you could make the world a better place just by doing one thing, then what would it be?

poodlelounge- remove money and use only trades or remove all toxins so everyone would feel and be healthier

crittersandcrafts- find a cure for cancer

Makingstuffwithlove- And I think the second part of this question is: And why aren’t you doing it? I say that before my answer, which is typical of us all I think: I’d stop all cruelty towards animals. Not a very imaginative answer, but one I wish for daily. I’m doing all I can do towards it -- with the zoo I call my pets :)

DianaDesignsNY- So many things I wish I could do, so I will throw out the very first thing that came to mind. I wish I could sprinkle some dust around the world, so there would be no more hunger. But in the hopes of keeping this a lot more lighted hearted, and on a much smaller scale, I wish I could sprinkle some fairy sales dust on the PJ peeps that they might have a year of lots and lots of sales.

CamargoCreations- I would start my own dog rescue because I can't think of a better world than one where no animal has to suffer.

Sasha- You all had such great ideas. The only thing my little doxie mind could come up with is give more kisses than barks. But, then again I am just a little wiener dog.

2. If you could make any balloon animal, what animal would you make?

poodlelounge- poodle noodle balloon of course crittersandcrafts- horse makingstuffwithlove- Sasha will like this one: I’d make a doxie :) They are the perfect animal for balloons -- long and skinny lol

DianaDesignsNY- Now I bet everyone would think I would say a doggie, but nope. I would love to make either a lop-eared bunny, because I love bunnies, or a monkey. What a funny balloon animal that would be.

CamargoCreations- A Tortoise. I just love them. I think they are amazing creatures.
Sasha- Wow, I never sees balloon horsies or tortoises. Then, bunnies, poodles, and monkeys, oh, my!! I guess since mommy doesn't let me play with balloons cause I might choke on them I will have to go with a balloon Bobo if I could.

3. What are two foods that you feel should never be combined?

poodlelounge- hot chili soup and ice cream , I like both but not together crittersandcrafts- hot sauce and ice cream (my son has tried it) LOL

makingstuffwithlove- This is awful, but the first thing that came to my mind is mustard and warm water -- Yuck! The reason? It is a home remedy for causing a person to throw up :( So don’t try it unless you are looking for this result…

DianaDesignsNY- This one had me stumped. Every time I came up with something it didn't sound so bad. Like pasta and peanut butter - then I thought of Chinese food - Noodles in sesame paste, and that is what it takes like - pasta and peanut butter. So how about ... chicken pot pie and chocolate. Ick.

CamargoCreations- Peanut Butter (my favorite) and mustard (which I am allergic to)

Sasha You know all that stuff didn't sound so bad to me except the chocolate chicken pot pie cause well you know us dogs can't have chocolate. I guess two foods that just should not be combined for me is grass and mushrooms. Bad mushroom trip as a pup! So now I can't even look at mushrooms and not want to run the other way.

Sasha's Night Before Christmas: The End

(Click on the pictures to see how you can get one of your very own.)

He was chubby and plump, and just right for a doxie.

I could see he had plenty of stealth and moxie.
A wink of his eye, and a wag of his tail,

Soon let met know, I need not wail.

He barked not a word, but went straight to his job,
And filled stockings with Bobos including one for Little Bob.

Putting his paw aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose!

He sprang to his car, and opened a small drink can,
And away they all flew including the snowman.

But I heard him howl, as he drove out of sight,
"Merry Christmas to all creatures, and to all critters good-night!"

Sasha and I wish that you all have a safe and Merry Christmas with your family this year!

Sasha's Night Before Christmas Part 4

(Click on the pictures to see how you can get one of your very own.)

His eyes-how they sparkled! His eye dots so merry!
His ears like warm fuzzy socks, his nose like a blackberry!

His happy little mouth was smiling at me,

And his tail was wagging as fast as can be.

The hubby stuffed bone he held tight in his lips,
And the drool flowed down with many drips.

He had a black and tan face and a little round tum-tum,

That made him waddle and sometimes fall on his bum-bum.

Sasha's Night Before Christmas Part 3

Twas The Night Before Christmas Sasha's Version Part 3
(Click on the pictures to see how you can get one of your very own.)

"Now, Frankfooter! Now, Tinker! Now, Oscar and Dude!
On, Chloe! On, Daisy! On, Peewee and Atta-Tude!

To the end of the porch! To the end of the yard!
Now dash hound away! Dash hound away! Dash hound away hard!"

As crazed squirrels before wild doxies fly,

When met with an obstacle, bound for the sky.

So up to the house-top the doxies they flew,
With a car full of toys, and Santa Paws, too.

And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing and each little woof.
As I was turning my long body around,
Down the chimney Santa Paws came as a hound.

He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his paw,
And he was the cutest hound that ever I saw.
A bunch of treats, he had in his sack,

And he looked like a lone pupper missing his pack.

It's Halloweenier Day! Trick Or Treat!

Sasha (from SassySashadoxie), the wiener dog here. Due to today being Halloweenier Day (and no new Ask The Petsjubilee Pets' Questions this week), I am going to tells you all about my day at the Petco costume contest.

Well, mommy bought me a Bobo costume a few months back from Miss Diana from DianadesignsNY. I loved my costume (all except for the squeaky hat cause I wanted to destuff it).

Mommy starts by dressing up like me and I think she looks a bit weird so I did try to lick her make-up off, but it didn't work. Then, she grabs my costume and we are off on a car ride. First, stop Miss Suz's house and we pick up Frito. We gets to the pet store and I am thinking oh goodies treats, bobos, people to pet me, and so on.

Then, mommy dresses me up in the costume right in front of Frito, but apparently he was a gentleman and had his back turned not to peek at me. His Mommy put a saddle on him and he was really embarrassed. So much so all he kept saying is where can I hide.

Then, we walked and walked and people wanted to take pictures of Frito and he really wanted nothing to do with the flashy thing or the peeps. So I stepped in and did my waggly tail and cute face, and grabbed a few photo ops.
Then, mommy got me a new red mini bobo the only one she could find that matched my costume. I barked at a few dogs which of course Mommy fussed at me for barking and frightening the other dogs. Can I help it they had never scene a barking bobo before. I was just telling them not to destuff me.

Well, time passes ever so slowly and you know you can only sniff isles so long. We met a few other wieners and one was Dorthy from the Wizard of OZ.

Finally, they had us all go to the back for the contest. They called my name and said a bunch of stuff Mommy wrote down on the paper. Then, Frito's turn and so forth.

We waited a bit longer and they announced the winners. They called my name right away for third place. Miss Suz clapped and so did a few others. Then, a pug Skunk got second, and there was a pause. We all waited and the first place wiener is "Frito!!" Mommy clapped and I woofed just a little so I wouldn't get in trouble, but I was wagging my tail.

Then, we collected our prizes and our free photo. Mommy picked up a couple more squeakies with the prize gift card. Then, she told me the Hot Dog was for Charlie. Like I knew that. But, I still gets two new squeakies my mini bobo and a squeakie hamburger.

We dropped Miss Suz and Frito off, and headed home. I told Charlie all about my adventure and he sniffies me all over. After dinner, Mommy cut the tags off the new toys and we had some good play time before my after dinner nap.
Remember to be safe tonight when the trick or treaters ring the door bell, no escaping into the dark spooky night. If you take your humans out, make sure you are very visible cause you know it is hard to see our fur color at night. Oh, and no matter how yummy the sweet kibbles smell no eatting them cause some are very bad for us critters.
Now, I am off to play with my new squeakies.
