Sharing A Recliner With A Chi-Kitty!

Step one: Jump up in opposite corner from the chi kitty. Do not make eye contact. Ignore the snarls and evil glare from the glowing eyes.

Step Two: Turn around without touching the "cat blankie". Eww. I think I smell cat hair. Position oneself down wind and whatever you do, don't fluff or scratch at the spot prior to the down position.

Step Three: Get comfortable. But, not too cocky.

Step Four: Still avoid eye contact with Chi-kitty and let your mommy know that you don't like this situation one bit with the pitiful hound dog face.

Adventures In Cat Dog Sitting

Maddie, the Chihuahua that thinks she is a cat, has been staying with us for two weeks while her mom was on vacation. It has been adventure for all of us.

At first, she didn't like going potty outside. She was use to potty pads at her place.

But, as long as nothing strange happened like wind blowing, birds flying, squirrels chattering, bees buzzing, flapping neighbor's tarp, wind chimes chiming, train horn blowing, air plane flying over, garbage can shadow in her path....., she figured it was safe to explore and have a good roll.

Then, she discovered the toys. We have toys of all kinds and shapes and sizes. But, you know this cat dog had to have the Jumbo bone from Diana's StylinDogsBoutique. Sorry, that this picture is showing that the bone has been well loved and a bit dirty.

The last night I actually got a couple pictures of all three dogs sitting together.

She is back with her mommy and kitty brother now. Her having to be a dog days are behind her for awhile.

However, I am sure there will be many more how to be a dog lessons in the future for this cat dog Chihuahua here with us.

Sasha And The Chihuahua House Guest

Maddie, Sasha's Chihuahua cousin, is visiting for a few weeks.  This Chihuahua thinks she is a kitty cat.  She always comes with cat-a-tude a plenty when she visits.  Poor Sasha is not taking the news this visitor will be here for awhile very well.  Can you tell?
